Perfect for a couple working from the home office, or for a small family, as a temporary home during your search for long-term accommodation. Non-smoking property. On-street parking. From the door and entrance hall, you arrive in the loft-like living room with its open-plan kitchen. From here, you also have access to the patio and garden. The open-plan arrangement creates a bright, friendly ambience.
An open staircase takes you upstairs. Here you will find three separate rooms plus a large bathroom with window, bath and large open shower. All rooms are bright and welcoming, with the windows providing views of greenery overall. Two rooms are currently used as home offices. (One room is furnished with a large wardrobe, and another is used as a room for relaxing and sport, such as pilates and yoga.) If required, two of the rooms can optionally be furnished with a bed and a two-door wardrobe.
An open staircase takes you to the attic storey. Here you will find a large room that also includes a large bed (1.80m x 2.0m). The sliding dormer window provides a clear view of trees and the heavens. Next to this room is a large shower room.
On the ground floor, there is also a guest WC, and the cellar features lots of storage space for your suitcases and personal effects.
The laundry room houses the washing machine and dryer.
The entire house delights thanks to its open-plan arrangement with lots of light, ensuring a feel-good atmosphere.
A further plus point is the property’s close proximity to the centre of Benrath, with its complete range of infrastructure, shops and public transport being less than a minute away.
The rent of €2800 includes service charges and use of the internet connection. The property owner is responsible for final cleaning at the end of your stay. This will be invoiced according to the work involved, at a rate of €35 per hour.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the property owner, but it has been requested.

Two rooms can be used as home offices, with 1000 Mbit internet and each furnished with a table and chair. The laundry room houses the washing machine and dryer. The cellar level is in excellent condition. Underfloor heating ensures an appealing indoor climate. A basic range of cooking utensils and tableware, plus bedding and towels, is provided. There is a dishwasher in the open-plan kitchen and there are two smart TVs in the house. Large patio with garden.

The citizens of Benrath and ‘their’ palace – this is to some extent true. Residents of the former municipality of Groß-Benrath, which became part of Düsseldorf in 1929, are extremely proud of their garden palace, and rightly so. In 1755 prince-elector Carl Theodor awarded the construction contract to Nicolas de Pigage. The result was one of the finest rococo buildings. A foundation now ensures that the palace, the park and the museums that the palace houses (European horticulture and natural history) are kept in tip-top condition. The orangery, today an arts and educational centre which is a favourite destination of not only locals, is a remnant of a water castle that previously stood on the site. Benrath is flourishing, with its self-assured citizens ensuring that the district does not stagnate. It is therefore constantly sprucing itself up, and the area around the lively market offers the very best shopping.
