The City Nord residential area in the northern part of Dortmund city centre can be found in the direct vicinity of the main rail station and near the Borsigplatz, which is above all known as the original home of football team Borussia Dortmund. It is located around 1km north of the city centre, offering rental properties that are near the city centre, generally lower in price but therefore also rather basic. To the north lies the Fredenbaum park, which invites you to go for a walk. The B54 main road takes you north, and via the A2 motorway to Lünen. Underground rail can be reached on foot in three minutes. Two stops to the Reinoldikirche.
