Spacious two-bedroom apartment with good room layout. Located on the sixth storey of a multi-family building with lift, and offering excellent extensive views from the balcony. The apartment is fully fitted and furnished and would be ideal for two or three work colleagues or a family with up to three children. The A42 and A43 motorways are only a few minutes’ drive away.
The rent has been calculated on the basis of occupancy by two people and already includes service charges and heating costs. Electricity costs must be paid separately. If occupied by three to five people, the rent increases by agreement.
Three apartments in the same building, with similar room layouts, are available to rent, meaning that colleagues/teams can stay in the area for the duration of larger projects.

This southern part of the town, Wanne/Eickel, lies around five kilometres south-west of Herne’s centre, and offers a mixture of basic and better quality residential property, as well as some areas of commercial use and open spaces. Amenities and living standards in Eickel are traditionally better than those in Wanne to the north. The Hauptstraße, which counts as the shopping area, leads to Eickel market, the old town centre. Around a small pedestrian zone are grouped the offices of the company Hülsmann AG, a new development of terrace houses with interesting architecture and a former brewery, as well as some restaurants and pubs. Eickel’s most popular residential area can be found near the Volksgarten park, but the area further to the north, near the sports park, is also a pleasant place to live. After comprehensive urban renewal projects, the Röllinghausen district has also developed into a really popular residential area comprising detached houses and low-rise larger buildings. Right to the south, a nicely laid out landscape park can be found on the site of the former Zeche Königsgrube colliery.
The A40 and A43 motorways are directly in the vicinity. Buses and to a lesser extent trains to Bochum’s main rail station as well as Herne station.
