Homely attic storey apartment enjoying a quiet location in the Weitmar area of Bochum. Excellent on-street parking. Bochum city centre is around ten minutes away by car or around 15 by bus. Around 12 minutes’ walk to the Engelsburger Straße tram stop, from which the 305 and 310 take you to the city centre. A junction for the A448 motorway is around five minutes away.
The apartment is suitable for a single person. The rent already includes service charges, heating costs and electricity, as well as internet access.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the property owner, but it has been requested.

The apartment is fully fitted and furnished, with the living rooms having wooden floorboards. A new air-conditioning system was installed in June 2020. The living room is furnished with a cosy corner sofa, wardrobe, TV and desk with swivel chair. The dining kitchen has been fully renovated, and is equipped with fitted units including a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, oven and extractor hood. There is also a dining table with two chairs. Tableware plus a range of cooking utensils is also provided. The bathroom is as good as new and offers a window, bath with shower fitting and glass partition, heated towel rail, WC, bidet and washbasin. The compact bedroom is furnished with a bed (1.40m x 2.0m), bedside table and chest of drawers. Towels and bedding provided. Use of a washing machine also possible by agreement.

Weitmar
This extremely varied district of Bochum begins one kilometre south-west of the city centre. To the north can be found the Rombacher Hütte business park, and to the south there are residential areas of good to excellent quality. But this residential area is broken up by lots of small areas of greenery. Bochum’s Weitmar district is also home to the Springorum Innovation Park, which comprises service providers and educational and research centres. The districts of Neuling and Mark, situated around the Schlosspark, are very sparsely developed and mainly feature detached houses. Finally, the village of Sundern is in a world of its own. Here you can live peacefully and comfortably, in a romantic, green environment. Transport connections: South-west ring road (Oviedo-Ring) with links to the A40, A43 and A44 motorways. Trams 308 and 318. Various bus routes.
