Several parks are all within easy reach of the apartment: the Stadtwald, the Nordpark, with its lake, and the Wittringen moated castle. The Zweckel power station is about eight minutes’ drive away, with the Scholven power station in neighbouring Gelsenkirchen being around ten minutes’ drive away.
