This attractive and very tastefully furnished apartment in an older building enjoys a central location in Ratingen. It has been tastefully appointed with new furniture. Open-plan layout, meaning there are no doors between the entrance hall and living room or living room and bedroom, with the latter being separated off by a curtain. This arrangement results in more natural light and space. Non-smoking property. The apartment is located in a rear building, enjoying a quiet location facing the inner courtyard.
The centre of Ratingen, with its numerous shops, doctors’ practices, dispensing chemists, pubs, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets, is within walking distance. There are also various fashion shops, parks and areas of greenery, fitness studios, bookshops and bars. The Ratingen-Ost local rail station is around 500 metres away, and there are several bus routes within walking distance. Destinations beyond the region are easily reachable thanks to the A3, A52 and A44 motorways, which are all only a few minutes away.
The rent already includes service charges, heating costs, electricity and the parking space. The stated rent applies to one person, and the minimum rental period is three months.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the property owner, but it has been requested.

Ausstattung

The parking space in the rear courtyard is for your sole use, solving the problem of finding a parking space in such a central location. Also provided are two TVs, Vodafone GigaTV, HomeNet and wi-fi internet access. The bedroom is furnished with an extremely spacious wardrobe and a double bed (1.60m x 2.00m) and a second TV set with the Waipu streaming service. Access to the south-east-facing balcony from the kitchen, which is equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fully automatic coffee machine (De Longhi), toaster and kettle. A good selection of tableware, pots and pans, baking utensils, glasses and towels is also provided. A basic selection of bedlinen, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and last but not least a washing machine on the ground floor all ensure you have a perfect stay.

Lage

Ratingen is an attractive small town offering high quality living and recreation opportunities. Extraordinarily fine residential areas can be found in the north, near the extensive Ratinger Wald woods. All worthy of a mention are Hösel, with its neat villas and bungalows, Lintorf and Tiefenbroich, which are more down to earth, and Homberg, which is smaller and hilly, and more typical of the Bergisches Land district. To the south and west, Ratingen borders the state capital Düsseldorf, to the north the cities of Duisburg and Essen and the town Mülheim an der Ruhr, and to the east the towns of Heiligenhaus, Wülfrath and the administrative district town of Mettmann. Ratingen’s close proximity to Düsseldorf airport, which is situated just a few kilometres away, ensures that flight destinations within Germany, the rest of Europe and overseas are all within easy reach. The airport’s rail station, with its links to the ICE international rail network, lies directly on Düsseldorf’s border with Ratingen. It can be easily reached by bus, taxi or your own car, offering direct access to the national and international rail network. Ratingen lies in the centre of a triangle formed by the A3 (Cologne–Oberhausen), A52 (Düsseldorf–Essen) and A44 (Mönchengladbach–Ratingen) motorways, meaning it enjoys an outstanding connection to the motorway network.
