As well as small green spaces and parks, such as the Westpark in the Jahrhunderthalle or the wonderfully laid out Stadtpark, the centre of Bochum also offers a range of commercial offerings to meet the requirements of the discerning customer. The centre’s residential developments are diverse, comprising detached houses, terrace houses and also higher buildings. At the southern edge of the city centre, near the Konrad-Adenauer Platz, you will find the popular and lively Bermuda3Eck (‘Bermuda Triangle’) gastronomy quarter. The city centre also boasts a wide range of infrastructure. For those distances that you don’t want to cover on foot, you can take advantage of the convenient and comprehensive public transport system. So, for example, in just 15 minutes you can be at the popular Starlight theatre, the football stadium or the mining museum.
