Located on a side street in the southern part of Bochum city centre, within walking distance of the Schauspielhaus theatre and the Bergmannsheil hospital. The apartment features modern fittings and furnishings. The property is ideal for a single person, but could also be suitable for a couple. The rent already includes a fortnightly cleaning service, service charges and heating costs plus electricity costs.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested.
The apartment is fully fitted and furnished. The living/dining room features a bed (1.40m wide), a desk, shelving, flat-screen TV plus a stereo system. The compact kitchen offers a double ceramic hob, sink, fridge with freezer compartment plus tableware, cutlery and pans etc. The bathroom features a shower, WC and washbasin. A spacious wardrobe can be found in the hall. You can also have use of an internet connection for €20 per month. A washing machine and dryer can be found in the building’s cellar.
As well as small green spaces and parks, such as the Westpark in the Jahrhunderthalle or the wonderfully laid out Stadtpark, the centre of Bochum also offers a range of commercial offerings to meet the requirements of the discerning customer. The centre’s residential developments are diverse, comprising detached houses, terrace houses and also higher buildings. At the southern edge of the city centre, near the Konrad-Adenauer Platz, you will find the popular and lively Bermuda3Eck (‘Bermuda Triangle’) gastronomy quarter. The city centre also boasts a wide range of infrastructure. For those distances that you don’t want to cover on foot, you can take advantage of the convenient and comprehensive public transport system. So, for example, in just 15 minutes you can be at the popular Starlight theatre, the football stadium or the mining museum. Transport connections: approx 1 km to the A40; at the city’s main rail station you can catch trains to international, national, regional and local destinations, and the station is also the hub for the city’s underground, tram and bus routes.
