You can reach the A46 motorway, with excellent links in all directions, in only eight minutes. And you can quickly and conveniently reach the airport via local rail or by car.

Across two levels, the apartment offers everything you need to make your stay in Düsseldorf unforgettable. Upon arrival on the fifth floor, you enter the generously proportioned living area, featuring a French balcony. Furnished with the finest designer furniture, it offers a cosy seating area featuring a sofa and an armchair. A smart TV, Teufel sound bar and high-speed internet access are also provided. The dining table offers space for four people. The open fitted kitchen meets the highest standards, all appliances such as cooking zone, oven, dishwasher are from Gaggenau with the exception of the large Liebherr fridge-freezer. The adjoining bathroom offers a large corner bath with shower attachment, a washbasin and a wall-mounted WC. A Bosch washing machine with integrated dryer function can be found in a recess. A home office area, featuring a desk and comfortable office chair, is located beneath the staircase leading to the sleeping area in the attic storey. The sleeping area in the upper level is furnished with a double bed (1.60m x 2.00m) and extremely spacious fitted wardrobes, in which you can store your clothing and laundry. From the bedroom, you can access the roof balcony, which offers a magnificent view over the rooftops towards the Medienhafen (‘Media Harbour’) and the city centre. The separate WC, a Villeroy & Boch viClean-U, completes the perfect fittings and furnishings on this level. A cleaning service can also be arranged, with the cost depending on the work involved. The monthly rent of € 1795 includes all running costs and use of the internet connection. The property owner is responsible for final cleaning at the end of your stay. This will be invoiced according to the work involved, at a rate of € 35 per hour.

Oberbilk, where you feel ever-more drawn to the city centre than to Bilk itself, is undergoing major structural changes. The district’s historical centre, the Oberbilker Markt market, has changed its appearance enormously. Old industrial complexes, which once characterised a typical working-class district dating from the time of Germany’s rapid expansion, have now disappeared. Underground rail now provides a quick link to the city centre, and more and more service providers are moving in. Düsseldorf honours its twin towns in the area around the Haus der Wirtschaft. The streets are named after Moscow, Warsaw, Haifa and Reading. The underground stations are reminiscent of Moscow and Warsaw, and a statue of Pushkin donated by the city’s Russian twin town Moscow is the first sculpture in the area. However, in large parts of the district, the character of a working-class district remains. Immigrants from other countries who came here in search of work ensure a multicultural environment in the very best sense.
