It is located in the southeastern part of the Kaiserstuhl. Due to its special location, it is considered the gateway to the Kaiserstuhl Nature Garden.
From Bötzingen it is only a few minutes drive to Alsace or Freiburg.

Here: Approx. 15 minutes by car via the B31 to Freiburg city center.
Approx. 7 minutes by foot to the train station and from here approx. 30 minutes by train to the main station in Freiburg or Emmendingen.
By bus in about 20 minutes to Freiburg-Mooswald and from there by tram in about 10 minutes to Freiburg city center.
