Generously proportioned apartment situated on the third floor of a multi-family building with lift. Available to rent for a limited period, for example three to six months. The apartment also offers a large (approximately 40 m²) roof terrace facing south-west. No smoking in the property, although smoking is permitted on the roof terrace.
The underground rail stop Markstraße is around 500 metres away on Universitätsstraße. Bochum city centre and Ruhr University Bochum are both easily reached in a few minutes. A discount supermarket is around 600 metres away. Parking available in neighbouring streets.
The rent has been calculated on the basis of occupancy by one or two people and already includes service charges and heating costs. Electricity costs must be paid separately. If occupied by three people, the rent increases.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested.

The living areas feature parquet flooring, whereas the kitchen and entrance hall have laminate flooring. The spacious living room offers extra-deep windows overlooking the terrace and is furnished with a cosy corner sofa and large Samsung smart TV, as well as offering a dining area for up to six people. Wi-fi internet access available (DSL 100). Access to the roof terrace, where you will find a table and six chairs. The separate fitted kitchen features a second dining area, as well as an electric hob with glass extractor hood, fridge, coffee machine and tableware etc. Behind this is the utility room, which houses the microwave, freezer, washing machine and dryer. The stylish bathroom has light-coloured tiles and offers a bathtub and separate shower with glass partition, as well as having a large window. The bedroom is furnished with a built-in wardrobe and double bed (1.8m x 2m). Bedlinen and towels are provided. An additional room is currently furnished with a desk and storage cabinets, although a bed can be provided if required.

Wiemelhausen
Wiemelhausen stretches from Bochum’s city centre to the boundary of the popular residential district of Stiepel. It is one of the most attractive residential areas in Bochum. Wiemelhausen is a really varied area, offering various micro locations, from quiet side streets to attractive livelier areas nearer the city centre. The more lively urban part houses the Schauspielhaus theatre. The Musikzentrum Bochum is the Bochum Symphoniker’s concert hall and also features a hall for the municipal music school. The site of the former Prinz Regent coal mine now enjoys varied uses: as well as new industry, the Prinz Regent theatre and a nightclub can also be found there. Transport connections: the Oviedo-Ring ring road is located in the district, the U35 underground line takes you to Querenburg, the city centre and Herne, and from Ehrenfeld rail station you can catch the S1 to Düsseldorf and Dortmund. Trams to Dahlhausen/Hattingen as well as the city centre/Gerthe.
Numerous bus routes take you to the city centre and other districts of the city.
